by checking out the PPF Viewer here.

Q: How is the Paint Protection Film applied?

A: The product is a urethane film that comes to us in bulk rolls and is then precision cut to fit your vehicle using a computerized cutting device.

Q: How long will my Paint Protection Film last?

A: Our product is warranted against cracking, fading or yellowing. It is intended to be a life-long product. Garaging and washing/waxing on a regular basis will insure the long life of the film.

Q: Will a Nano Fusion application stop bug acid from etching a painted or clear coat surface?

A: The acidic reaction from bugs does not affect the surface of the film the same way it affects the paint, so the residue can be washed off with soap and water easier than it would be from the paint. Never leave bug splatters on the PPF for an extended period of time, as it may stain the film as well.

Q: How long does it take to install?

A: Installation time will vary depending upon the amount of coverage and the particular vehicle. Usually it will take 2-3 hours for most standard packages and can take up to a day for deluxe packages.

Q: Will paint fade differently under the Paint Protection Film than on the rest of the vehicle?

A: Our invisible films are UV Stable, so the sun discolors the entire vehicle at the same rate. You should maintain the vehicle’s paint and the PPF on a regular basis, washing and waxing. If you do so, there will be no discernible difference.

Q: Will a Nano Fusion job really help prevent stones from chipping the paint?

A: Yes. The urethane film is energy absorbent. In fact, it was designed originally to prevent damage on the leading edge of helicopter rotor blades.

Q: Can you see the film after it has been applied?

A: The film is 99.5 percent optically clear and virtually invisible to the eye.

Q: Why is Paint Protection Film better than a vinyl bra?

A: Vinyl bras are not permanently affixed to a vehicle and will cause some chaffing to the paint. It is common for moisture to form under the bra that can cause clouding to the clear coat. Paint Protection Film does not damage the paint and does not change the appearance of the vehicle.

Q: Can the PPF be removed?

A: Yes, the PPF is removable, but it is not reusable. (But why would you want to?)

Q: Does the application of PPF adversely affect the illumination of my lights?

A: Any difference in the illumination quality of protected lights is undetectable to the human eye. You will not notice any difference in the performance of your headlights.

Q: When I had the PPF installed on my headlights they looked fine, but now they look foggy. Will it last?

A: This is normal — and temporary. The fog is caused by the solution we use during the application process evaporating under the film. The vapor that is produced results in a hazy appearance for a few days. The haze will clear.

Q. What is the warranty on PPF film?

A: The best warranty in the business: it is backed by a 7-year warranty.
